This was a very good weekend away.
From the warm welcome on arrival to the time of departure it was a pleasant experience. Dunster is a gem, a time warp, and the hotel is right in the middle of it, offering comfort, good food and friendliness.
You get what you pay for
We paid £70 for a nights accommodation, as this was for one night only we did not wish to upgrade to £125.
The room was incredibly small and the double bed filled the room. The bed itself was most uncomfortable - the mattress being past its best. We have dinner in the restaurant which was lovely but the table was not clean being really sticky. The young man who checked us in was very helpful but he seemed to be jack of all trades doing everything.
