Beautiful country house, lovely rooms, atmosphere and food
This really is a lovely place to stay.
Short walk for a choice of two pubs both with good food. Dominic was very helpful throughout. Only minor niggle was the wifi, which even after they restarted the router was not great - but then it is rural Devon, and very beautiful country.
We only stayed one night at Woodhayes, but we would definitely stay again.
The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We were given a friendly welcome, with a pot of tea and slices of cake. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The ensuite was modern. There was real attention to detail; good quality soap etc, real milk in a mini fridge - even chocolates and scotch. ( we didn't try it) on a tray. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We both had a selection of pastries - very yummy.
