I booked this hotel for a suprise weekend away with my girlfriend and I couldn't have asked for a lovelier place.
Staff were very polite and helpful the entire duration of our stay, I couldn't fault the cleanliness of our room or the rest of the building. The food was such good quality. It's nice to have a bar and several lounge areas around the hotel as well so you can relax and have a drink. The hotel itself really is beautiful. We will be staying again.
A pleasantly different hotel experience
Well located in the centre of the town.
A pub, restaurant, hotel with a quirky vibe. Being a historic building its layout is non-standard but the design has been made to a 'good fit. Quirky, clean, busy and energetic. Staff from reception to restaurant to bar were engaging, open, interesting and welcoming. The room was more than adequate. A shame that parking is off-site but that was a minor inconvenience and an acceptable sacrifice for what the visitor gets overall. Definitely recommended.
