About the hotel
This delightful listed Somerset longhouse dates back to the 15th Century and is situated at the end of a "no through road" in the beautiful, tranquil Somerset countryside with an abundance of wildlife. Situated only 5. 5 miles from the M5 motorway, 6 miles from the county town of Taunton and approximately 20 miles from both the North & South coast makes it the perfect setting for either business or pleasure.
The house has been tastefully restored to a high standard, retaining the character of the house with its beamed ceilings, fine Jacobean panelling and open fireplaces; during winter guests can curl up by the log fire or in the summer enjoy the beautiful secluded gardens. the rooms are bursting with character but with just enough modern touches including sky TV and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is included in the price, dinner parties can be catered for, we offer a selection of 2 or 3 course meals for 6 or more guest upon request, 7 days notice is required.
