Good country accomodation

This pub provides comfortable accomodation 4 miles from Taunton.

Set out in a small rural village this pub has rooms which are seperated from the main building so are quiet. Clean and well equipped (except no hairdryer) but we were disappointed that the housekeeping was negligable. We received clean towels and bins once in 4 days but the beds were never made and tea and coffee not replenished. Otherwise satisfactory and a good value option which we would use again.

What a great find !!

A fantastic little bolt-hole, beautiful surroundings, great food and atmosphere in the inn.

Perfect for a quiet weekend , near enough to Taunton for any bits and pieces and nestles just south of the spectacular Exmoor national park. We will definitely be going back. The rooms are basic but very clean and tidy.
