Business trip but the hotel was so relaxing, staff very pleasant and helpful.
Food was delicious and had a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Would definitely return.
Found this place by accident looking for somewhere to spend my wife's 50th, what a setting to make a memory for ever and affordable as well.
Very friendly helpful staff, some areas are looking a little tired but that's exactly what you want from an old castle, prev nights been spent in Radison Blu hotel in Edinburgh and if the castle had been spick n span like this then it wouldn't have felt right, in fact we were in a newly fitted room with a loch view, but actually one of the older rooms may have been more atmospheric, I cannot imagine any room having a poor view here we will defiantly be back and stay for longer next time to explore the area (They could only take us for 1 night as a late booking)
