Hotel was small , but warm and clean. All staff were smiley and friendly, lovely :0
Even tho the lift was tiny, I did manage to get my disabled father in.
Other than that the hotel was fab, lovely and friendly. Could'nt wish for a better site, right opposite the pier, father loved it. Well done Amsterdam had a great time .
Stayed here in april and was thoroughly pleased.
room was clean and view was excellent + got a free room upgrade as they were laying new floor. Perfect location as it is opposite the pier.
Excellent hotel, would definitely recommend it to friends, family and the public.
Worth the money except I had to pay extra for breakfast in a luxurious room.
1 star hotel
Paid £169 for 1 night, hence expectations were for a good room and nice breakfast.
The room is a very noisy one. You will hear the door of you neighbours being closed. You will hear creaking noises from the lift. Walking noise all night from either rooms above or next to you or from the hallway.
If you are planning on sleep - take sleeping pills. Forgot to mention, hotel has a nightclub or late bar downstairs. Breakfast, not sure if you could call that food. Stale croissant, cheap toast bread, brown salad as a decoration. No eggs and no cooked breakfast offered.
Avoid at all cost. On a reflection, I should have taken the train back home and sleep on a train.
Great hotel, friendly staff and very clean lovely sea view.
Bar and breakfast staff very happy and friendly.
Could not fault location, room or the staff. Had a great night away in Brighton for my husbands birthday. Very helpful staff and really nice clean hotel.
Nice little hotel
Stayed overnight with my girlfriend and they were accommodating as she uses crutches so had a room available near the lift on the lowest floor (no rooms on ground).
We were just in time for breakfast at 10am and the staff gave us coffee and croissants, not much but it was included in our stay. Staff were also nice enough to delay our check out til 11:30am as were running late which was a bonus. Overall a pleasant stay.
extremely friendly staff
i stayed at the hotel with a friend and we stayed in a twin room.
it was the only hotel I could find that looked nice for under £200. The room was fairly basic and could have done with a little more soft furnishings to soften it. HOWEVER the staff were so friendly and accommodating, breakfast was lovely (although not a cooked breakfast).
I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again
Very friendly greeting on arrival, given lots of info on restaurants, nightlife, shops and parking etc.
Clean tidy room overlooking the pier as described. Great for a couple of nights and more if needed. Very minor detail of noise from the club below but as it wasn't the height of the summer closed windows helped,
Would recommend for a great stay close to the lanes area.
Warm welcome, not so great experience
Upon arrival i the young man on reception was very helpful with the parking situation.
Once my partner and I had found a space, an older man was now on reception and we couldn't of been happier with the warm welcome. We were pointed to our room, a sea front view. Absolutely no complaints about the view, it was a great spot, looking over the pier. However, the room wasn't up to the standard we had thought would come as an 'executive' room. There was no a.c nor a fan, so therefore no way to cool down, other than to have the window/door open to the balcony - which we couldn't do as a result of the noise from the bar directly below our room (part of the hotel). The 'bathroom' was very poor, a shower fixture, and a toilet with a sink all in very close proximity to each part, being a wet room, which was finished to a low standard. There was a good amount of room to put clothes and bags in the wardrobes which was a positive. We had breakfast included in our stay and the card stated a time for us to be down by (i believe it was 10:00). However when we got down the 2 members of staff were rude and showed poor customer service, telling us we were too late for breakfast. Even though we were down 30 mins before the time stated. Plus everything was still set up and there was alot of food to be consumed still. Begrudgingly they let us have breakfast and rushed us to get everything we wanted before taking it all away - worst service we have ever had!. You don't expect to hear the staff moaning about guests still being down for breakfast. I would recommend to avoid at all costs and eat elsewhere for breakfast. Overall we had a poor experience of the hotel, and were disappointed after all the positive reviews we had read prior to our booking. A nice welcome, but an unfortunate experience throughout our 1 night stay.
Everything at the hotel fine.
