Wonderful time here.
Very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Lovely room, breakfast great.
Stayed for two nights for the Brighton Marathon
I stayed for two nights in April for the Brighton Marathon and I would recommend this guest house to my friends and family, because its very clean, cosy and I had a great nights sleep before the race.
The staff are very friendly and cook a great breakfast at just the right time in the morning. I will stay here again on my next visit to Brighton. Great location too just 10mins walk to the seafront and pier.
For £65 per night B&B, I was rather disappointed with the tiny room, though it did have a small en suite.
It bore no resemblance to the pictures on the website!. :( - rather misleading, actually. The breakfast was good, and the owners were very friendly and jovial.
Not for business
Not a place to stay on business, as the owner doesn't do breakfast until 0930 - though he'll let you have cereals & fruit juice for your room.
Room was very hot even with window open & fan. My room was on the top floor - 5 flights of stairs from the ground floor. Handy for St James Street, Kemptown (camptown), and most bus routes stop just 2 doors down going to town or heading East.
weekend away in Brighton
The owner seemed more concerned in selling me a parking permit than fixing the faulty shower in room number 2.
Had major problems with the electric tripping out, should have known when booking online the price jumped up by £20 @ the time of booking Aaaarrrrrrgggggghhh.
Very friendly. Will be going back soon.
