Worthing & Findon pit stop
Very helpful in having our rooms ready earlier than stated as travelling from afar to a wedding and needed to change into glad rags at 12mid day.
Thank you for arranging that with the cleaners . It was much appreciated. Accommodation was clean and fresh. Well stocked with towels and tea and coffee.etc. A lovely area to visit.
Dire - avoid regardless of low price
The dirtiest place we've ever had the misfortunate to stay in.
From outside it looks cheap and nasty, once entering the carpet up the stairs is filthy and there's grime on the walls. When opening the door to the room, the smell hits you - as dogs are allowed to stay, that's what pretty much everything in the room smells of. The bed headboard was black with dirt, the sheet was covered in dog hairs and there were numerous stains on the bedding and pillowcases. The sofa bed was filthy and reeked and was far too big for the room when pulled out. We slept on top of the bedding and still felt uncomfortable at the thought of it. The mugs and cups were dirty and covered in hairs. Worst of all was the bathroom. There was no way the sink had been cleaned as it was thick with dust. There were hairs everywhere and the shower was so grubby we didn't want to use it. There was also a mirrored cabinet in the room which looked like it had never been cleaned in its life. Lastly the room was extremely hot, as it is cramped and basically a loft room. All in all, a horrendous visit. After arriving, we desperately looked around for somewhere else to stay nearby but everywhere was booked, so please do not stay here unless you liked the sound of our trip.
Bank holiday overnight stay
Very good value, basic, clean accommodation, with TV, tea and coffee facilities.
The room have its own toilet, basin and shower. We heard no noise during our stay from other people and had a very good night's sleep. We will certainly stay again another time. Hoping to have another short break in this area in the autumn. Thank you.
I am just concern about the toilet window which does not lock, it may compromise ones safety.
I suggest that this must be sorted.
Also, the chair is nearing to breakdown, this can cause injury
Good value and convenient location
Double room withEn suite shower etc

Worthing & Findon pit stop
Instructions to get to and access accommodation very good by text from contact.
Room fairly spacious. All appliances were in working order with instructions if necessary. Decor a little tired but as for value for money very good. Breakfast; I can recommend 'Julia's Kitchen across the road.
We received a text message which gave us instructions around what room we were staying in, the location of the key, the wifi password, all prior to arrival which I thought this was a great idea.
Our first impressions were positive, the room (rm 7) was quite large with a decent size ensuite. It had a great (large) widescreen Tv and a sofa, there was plenty of storage including a dressing table. First impressions good. But when you actually looked around, things were quite tired, the bed was incredibly soft, not ideal for me but then some people would prefer it. Personal choice I guess. The bedding wasn't particularly clean, they supplied towels which was good, and some complimentary shampoo, again a nice touch, but I was frustrated with squeaky floor boards which I am sure would have been disturbing other guests when I was moving around the room and not just one or two, it seemed to be where ever I walked...needless to say I didn't enjoy a very good night sleep, which can't entirely be held against this hotel, as we had car alarms going off at 3 in the morning and I could hear other guests talking most of the night, the opening and closing of doors at 5 as well as music in other people's rooms, the walls must be really thin and being a light sleeper this meant I struggled. Bottom line, it is what it is. The village has some lovely pubs and places to eat, it's close enough to to Brighton if you are mobile, and it's fairly easy to find, parking was an issue when we first arrived but luckily later at night we were able to park closer to unpack our bags.
Not easy to find without instructions: Worn and threadbare entrance hall and stairway to first floor accommodation (no ground floor accommodation!).
Room 8: poor quality furnishings, not very clean, poorly lit. Bathroom - not very clean, poorly lit, cobwebs around walls and ceiling, tile grout mouldy and dirty sealant. Paint off ceiling. Shower has poor drainage, water almost overflowed the tray. Plenty of drawer space if you are not particular!, but only a rail on which to hang clothes. More like 1970's student accommodation. Even cheap accommodation (this was £45 per night) should be clean. Fortunately we were there for only two nights otherwise we'd have gone elsewhere. Nice village though!
Absolute waste of money
The room is poor quality the bed is so near door cant put anything next to it the bed itself is on floor the room was filthy with marks all over walls the bathroom in our room had plaster coming off walls has a cheap hanging rail for clothes to say double bedroom a joke was tiny the noise people make in other rooms can be clearly heard we stayed 2 nights first night till 2pm couldn't get to sleep as tv so loud and they had dog in room I find that gross considering how dirty rooms were the noise outside was clearly heard too the towels small and cheap they dont change daily the entrance to the upstairs bedrooms have cobwebs and stairs very steep the picture they advertise with bares no relation to the reality we paid £115 for 2 nights the full stop was in wrong place should have been £11.50 for this pit reminded me of a student bedsit
