Right by the beach
I arrived late and left early, so didn't get chance to experience the food etc, but my room was nice and comfy and warm, there were tea/coffee making facilities and nice toiletries, and the room was dog friendly (albeit up 3 flights of stairs - not a problem with my two dogs).
The hotel is literally next to the beach with a lawn area overlooking the sea, so opening the window meant lovely lapping sounds to help me sleep. Quiet area, so no disturbances.

Business trip - 1 night
Very friendly welcome. Room as advertised, clean and tidy. A bit of an issue with wifi to start with but very good service from staff very helpful and sorted it out. Lovely 3 course meal room service. Could do with being a tad cheaper though. Lovely breakfast. Very good value hotel. Why you'd pay nearly twice as much for a Premier Inn I don't know!

Turned up at the hotel and had to duck under on going refurbishments on the entrance. ordered a caesar salad for starter that was less than impressive and followed with a chicken main that ended up being raw. The service was excellent but i struggled to choose a replacement main course from the limited menu.
Overall, poor food but ok room and good service.
Would i stay again? No.

A very relaxing and calming stay
We chose this hotel as it was close to my fathers care home, and had dropped in for drinks in the past. Attending my fathers funeral on the Friday I wanted a place where I could visit places I shared with my father. This was a calming and inspiring hotel where we could jump on a train to go into Bexhill and have nice walks on the beach, just taking in the views. We intend to visit again in the future. Many thanks.

More personal attention
The location of the hotel is beautiful and the room and breakfast was very good. But as a typical spontanious warm dutch family we surely missed the personal touch. Maybe this is the hotel policy because we did get all we asked for in an instant but we missed the personal interest, fot instance how our day had been, passing the reception in the evening. Some of the personel did make an effort to show interest but as we checked out , the lady at the reception didn't even bother asking us after a week if we enjoyed our stay. Nevertheless we did very well enjoyed ourselfs and would even consider coming back one day. The little asian cleaning lady was very nice and did bother talking to us !! I would give this hotel a 5 out of 6. I would not recommend it to people with little children

Nice accomodation outside Bexhill City
It's important to have a car because it's located outside Bexhill centre. The breakfast is very good and also the restaurant has a good quality and variety of food.
Value for Money was for me ok, since a had a discount for the first night.
From my point of view (probably a little bit biased as a Swiss Person who knows also small Spa Hotels in Switzerland and Germany), the entire Spa aera needs a renovation.

Worth visiting
Booked through Laterooms at £40 B&B, this was well worth it. Easy to find with plenty of parking on site. Welcomed by name so expecting me, and very courteous staff all round. Plenty of cleaning going on and hotel well appointed. Food was very good and although room was a little on the small side, it was perfectly adequate considering the price I had paid. The whole place has a lovely ambience, and breakfast was very pleasant overlooking the beach. You get the impression this place is well-run and I doubt you'd find a nicer place to stay at the price I paid.

Cooden Beach
Our only problem was that the room was too hot, but that was probably due to the weather so not much that could be done about that
