Nice clean room , comfortable bed which was what I needed.
Period property which makes a change from a modern box. Squeaky floorboards and nice big staircase which are part of the character. In the middle of refurb so parking was limited due to scaffolding and materials but apart from that it did what I was suppose to.
still a great hotel
After some time of redecoration, it is all looking good again - perhaps even better.
The most important thing for me though, is that the staff are always so friendly and helpful, and the hotel retains it's Victorian grand-ness.
