We were very happy to discover upon arrival we had been upgraded to a Privilege room overlooking the golf course.
The room was lovely, with sofa and very large bed. We did, however, have issues with the bath/shower not draining at all, the bedside light not working and towels not replaced. The towels issue was sorted easily but had to report the other issues twice and still not resolved. This meant that we twice had to go out leaving inches of dirty water sitting in the bath. Apparently there is no maintenance over the weekend and no one else knows where light jobs are (for the bedside light issue). Other than that the hotel has been extensively refurbished since our last stay 8 years ago - very European with bright open reception and tasteful bar area. If, however, there is a wedding, this does take over.
Nice hotel - no lift!
Lovely hotel and nice size bedroom & bathroom but no lift.
Made for taking my 5 month old and all his "baby stuff" to the room and back to the car hardwork but the manager helped with his pram. Recommend you ring the hotel the day before so they can ensure you receive a ground floor room!
