About the hotel
The Squirrel Inn Country Pub & Dining in Hurtmore provide Bed and Breakfast accommodation "The Cottages". Conveniently located for Godalming and Guildford just off the A3, half way between Portsmouth and London, and within easy reach of many interesting places in this beautiful area. "The Cottages" are an ideal base for both business and leisure guests.
We have eight comfortable en-suite or private bathroom rooms: five doubles and three singles. All rooms have been fully refurbished and finished to a high standard. The building is a listed 16th Century so expect a few low beams and a few creaky floorboards which add to the character! Friendly and Helpful Staff - Very Basic Room but Clean
This really is a case of getting what you pay for.
The accommodation was ultra-basic, but functional and clean enough. There was a slight smell of timber rot, but the room was in a very ancient timbered annexe building. Some might be put off, but I was not, and my 2-night stay was pleasant and peaceful.
