About the hotel
On âOosterdokseilandâ (ODE), right next to Central Station and within the historic city centre, is the impressive, newly-built DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Amsterdam Centraal Station. This DoubleTree by Hilton hotel with a modern architectural design is characterised by its transparency and versatility. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows are featured in each guest room, meeting room and all bars and restaurant spaces within the hotel, providing plenty of daylight and impressive views of the city.
The many outdoor areas such as waterfront terraces, Sky terrace, suite balconies, court yard and private roof terraces ensure that each and every guest can enjoy the serenity of the city from the tranquility of the hotel. The rooms and suites at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Amsterdam Centraal Station feature a variety of facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible such as individually controlled air conditioning, windows that open, and an iMac system which functions both as a TV and computer. High-speed internet access and Wi-Fi is also available free of charge throughout the entire hotel. The hotelâs main restaurant, City Café, offers an international fare with local flavour. Diners in City Café can feast upon the magnificent views over the waters of the Oosterdok whilst enjoying fresh cuisine from seasonal, high quality ingredients. The comfortable, yet sophisticated atmosphere is complemented with a service of excellence that will make your visit for breakfast, lunch and dinner a memorable culinary experience. As with City Café, the East Dock Lounge offers a bright and open atmosphere where meeting and relaxing is the main focus. Besides an extensive selection of local and international beers, wines and other beverages, the East Dock Lounge offers a unique whisky collection. The menu focuses on healthy and light meals. The East Dock Lounge may therefore be called the new living room of Amsterdam joined by a large, south facing terrace for sunny days. Whether it is for a brief meeting, a private conversation, a quiet moment before you take the train, or a quick lunch before you pick up your car from the Oosterdokgarage, the Lobby Bar offers many possibilities. Just like the City Café and the East Dock Lounge, the Lobby Bar is situated on the ground floor level with a spacious terrace overlooking the waters of the Oosterdok. Even a public library is available. The Sky Lounge with Sky Terrace is definitely one of the most unique places in the historic centre of Amsterdam. From the 11th floor of the DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station you will have a breathtaking 360 degree view of the skyline of the city and on clear days you can even see the planes land at Schiphol Airport (AMS). In a relaxed atmosphere we serve a wide selection of wines, fine, classic and modern cocktails and an extensive menu of luxury snacks and small dishes. The best location to have a drink in Amsterdam! In addition to several exclusive rooms at the City Café on the ground floor, the first floor offers over 1,000 square feet of modern meeting and event spaces. The rooms are flexible and easy to combine which makes this floor ideal for small and large groups. Here too, natural light, transparency and an impressive view is the main focus.

Very moden, good value for money, Central to the train/team stops
A very popular hotel from what I can see, 8 plus decks all on and still ques of 1-3 people deep.
The reception staff are very professional here, apologising for any wait. The company are doing all they can for this and I was impressed to see 8 members of staff working hard to get people sorted with check in and local information.
On check in, a revived, a hot cookie which was different but thoroughly enjoyed. Could have just done with a brew to go with it lol
The hotel is a bit of a weird set out, it seemed to take ages to find my room, there are corridors going off left, right and centre.
The room was a fair size but not the biggest. It had a courtyard view when I asked for a city one. This was the only let down.
The room was clean and tidy and to good standard, their was mac computers and a tv. There was also two arm chairs and a little table.
The bathroom was a good size with the usual facilities. There was no bath but a very smart double shower.
the hotel is in a good location but it is to expensive this is hiltons version of a premier inn but double the price not worth the money
