85% would recommend it to a friend
Room was more than adequate in size along with ensuite.
The room was clean but the more you looked close the more that you could see it was starting to show signs of wear and Tear. For example cracked tiles in bathroom around the sink. The breakfasts were absolutely fine. You could ask for anything and you would get it within a few minutes. Plenty of choice and friendly service. Especially picked this accommodation as they allow dogs to stay.
Good location, great breakfast
My 1 night stay here was fine.
Staff are lovely. Hotel was clean and presentable, though very dated.
You need to bare in mind that there is NO LIFT and bedrooms are on the 1st, 2nd (40 stairs) and even 3rd (53 stairs) floor.
My room was small but fine. Dated, but had everything I needed - kettle and drinks, tv, small shower room, hair dryer etc. There was even a dressing gown and little bar of chocolate. I would recommend this hotel, so long as you are not expecting anything fancy. Location is great, close to the sea and town centre. There is an underground car park right opposite. Best thing to bring me back here would be the awesome breakfast. Rarely seen this choice and high standard included in the price. They have everything you could want, from juices, croissants, cakes, full English + good news for me, full veggie breakfast as standard. All deliciously and freshly made in minutes and then served by a very nice, efficient and welcoming waitress. They even have marmite.
