What are hotel reviews?

Reviews are the comments of guests who have previously stayed at a hotel booked through LateRooms. Guests can rate the hotel using a scoring system from one to six (with one being the lowest and six being the highest). A hotel can be rated on its customer service, cleanliness, value for money, room quality, food quality and whether it is family friendly. Guests are also asked to leave their comments.

How will this benefit me?

All of the reviews featured on LateRooms are submitted by customers that have actually stayed at the hotel. Their comments and ratings provide unbiased information to enable you to select accommodation most suited to your needs.

How do I submit a review?

To submit a review you have to have booked and stayed via LateRooms.
If you are a LateRooms customer there are two ways you can leave a review of your stay:

1. At the time of booking your hotel you must have provided us with a valid email address.
We use this email address to send you a review questionnaire 48 hours after your departure date, which will allow you to leave a hotel review for the hotel you stayed in.
This email is unique to you and your booking.

2. You can also access and review all your hotel stays through MyLateRooms.
To access MyLateRooms you will need to have registered your details with us.
If you are already a member of MyLateRooms, sign in and click on the MyBookings tab, followed by the Hotel Reviews tab.
You will be able to leave your review here.
If you haven't already signed up, MyLateRooms has been designed to allow you to manage your bookings more easily and customise the site to suit your needs.

When will my review feature on the website?

Once you have submitted your review it is sent to our Review Team to be processed and will be posted on the website within fourteen days of submission.

Do you feature all reviews that are submitted?

We try to post as many reviews as we can but there are circumstances when we will receive reviews that do not comply with our terms of posting or are proved to be inaccurate or false.

If your review has been declined and you wish to discuss the reasons for this please contact the Review Team by email who are happy to answer all your questions.

Can I filter the reviews by language?

LateRooms receives reviews from customers in English, Spanish, Italian, French and German. We will initially display the reviews submitted in the language that you are viewing the website in. Should you wish to read reviews in other languages, you can select the language you want from the drop down menu.

How do I know if my review has been accepted?

You can monitor the status of your feedback at anytime by logging into MyLateRooms.
From here you can view all your hotel bookings and review all previous hotel stays as well as the status of your review.

Will my review be amended in any way?

Whilst LateRooms will not amend the context of the review, we may have to remove names of hotel staff and the names of hotels not associated with the review.
This ensures that the review complies with our terms of posting.

Are my reviews going to be for the sole use of LateRooms?

All approved reviews will primarily feature on LateRooms.com.
However, they may also be used on our sister website miniBreaks.com and LateRooms partner sites.
