Perfect city centre pad
This was a really ideal pad for us to explore Bath from for a couple of days. The location was excellent, being about 7 minutes walk from the train station and around the corner from the main shopping and heritage area in Bath. We had a studio apartment which was very spacious, with good cooking facilities (which we didn't really use), and a separate bathroom. It was light and airy, and although I was worried about the noise from the main road below with lots of buses coming past, the secondary glazing cut most of the noise out so we slept fine. We were very happy to receive a complementary 'welcome pack' including fresh milk in the fridge, cereal, tea and coffee and biscuits and bottled water. There were also complementary toiletries, and an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, ipod dock, etc. The staff were friendly and because it was self service it was fine to come and go as we pleased (which was also easy to do given the location). There was no problem in leaving our suitcases after checking out on our last day and we had asked to do that on arrival but in fact our room was ready when we arrived four hours before we were meant to check in.
The layout of our apartment was a little odd with the sofa in front of the cupboards which was required because the kitchen benches, and it wasn't the most luxurious accommodation with a very small foyer/reception area, a creaky lift and the staircases/corridors feeling more like student accommodation than a hotel but none of this bothered us as the room was great, good value and ideal for what we wanted to do.

Amazing location!
These apartments are in the perfect location - literally 2 mins away from shops, restaurants and baths. The apartment was clean and tidy with all the required facilities.
When we return to Bath we will definitely book here again.
If you go, remember to take the passcode and info from the email they send you. We forgot and the lady on reception made OVER sure we knew we had made a boo boo - it's not a major point but not the type of customer service you'd expect from apartments of this standard.

City break with comfort from home
Saco serviced apartments was a first for us and will certainly not be the last. Central in the town allowing easy access to all the attractions of Bath without the hassle of finding places to park the car. We parked out of town possible Saco arrangement with local car parks could make it even better for their residents. Apartment was spacious, even the studio was huge, kitchen had all appliances, bed huge and very comfortable, great to take a break from sight-seeing or change for going out in the evening by popping back to base and staff welcoming and helpful!

More of a 'home' than a 'hotel'
My boyfriend and I stayed in our SACO apartment after leaving it a bit too late to book a hotel or B&B for a weekend trip to Bath. On arrival, we were both actually very pleased that we ended up here rather than a hotel, and would stay in a SACO apartment again any day.
We were in a studio apartment, which was actually very spacious and comfortable. It had a nice little kitchen with all the bits we needed to cook up a simple supper on our first night, which we enjoyed while lounging on our comfortable sofa and watching a DVD! We were out and about for the rest of our stay, and our apartment was very well located and a short walk from everywhere. On our last day, the receptionist kindly looked after our bags all day after we'd checked out, to save us lugging them around Bath's cobbled streets!
There are a few (minor) down points: the noise from the street is quite loud, so perhaps bring earplugs if you have them, the pillows were a bit hard (if I'm being picky!) and we did run out of hot water on our second night. However, we told reception about this and she assured us she would look into it.
Overall, a lovely stay. I almost wish I owned the apartment as my own Bath bolthole for future!

Excellent!
The receptionist who greeted us was completely welcoming and helpful -- i'm sorry i dont know her name but she was very sweet. The space was spotlessly clean and spacious. It was nice and quiet. Really a perfect place to stay!

Great location, close to central Bath. Roomy accommodation. Although we stayed only one night it would be perfect for a longer stay.

Simple place, great location
My husband and I stayed here and booked at the last minute. Short walk from the train station, very friendly and helpful staff, close to all major attractions in Bath. The only things I would have wished for are a firmer mattress and bigger bathroom.
