Days Inn Membury - M4
Excellent value for money
Very good value for money stay.
Booked two family rooms - both clean, comfortable, good size and bright. Everything working fine. Good shower. Friendly staff. Couldn't really ask for more for the price. Plenty of food and drink options at the shops next door including a Harry Ramsden's full English breakfast, Waitrose and a microwave on the food court for warming food. Just two small things which actually didn't affect us but might affect other travellers. Family rooms have one double and one single bed. So talk to hotel before booking if you are a family of four. Also our rooms didn't have wifi. But did have good tv's with all freeview channels. Would definitely recommend overall.
Well worth it - safe and sound with fabulous amenities close by
Leaving the parking lot was a night mare - lots of no entries need to be distinguished from the limited access road that got us eventually to the B 4000!!!
clean, comfortable bed.
good value for money
Excellent place to stay whilst working in Newbury.
Friendly and helpful staff, very nice room and access to plenty of good food.
value for money
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was generally clean throughout. Not as noisy as we expected for a motorway hotel. Cheap and cheerful, all we needed as we were travelling through and just need a stop for the night. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we need to.
Not vey good signs if arrival at night.
Breakfast was ok, not much selection (run out of things). On arrival stairs and corridor was dirty, however room was clean.
Good value for the money
Have stayed here many times and will again as very good value for money.
This time (the same as the last) the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work. Last time we changed rooms twice to get a bathroom where the fan worked - this time it was not possible. The bathroom had been upgraded but still the same problem of prolonged damp after showering requiring the bedroom window to be left open slightly while having the heater at full during the day. Repair the extractor fans- everything else OK.
good value for money
For the money this hotel is more than adequate.
The only negative is the signage in the car park. I drove round several times and eventually asked someone. I couldn't see the hotel or where I should park.
The shower was very fine hard jets which was actually quite painful.
Wouldn't have been any good for a child I don't think, but everything else was excellent.
