Nice hotel, great location, excellent food but parking is a challenge
The location of the hotel is perfect with just a short walk down the hill to the pier.
The hotel is very clean and the restaurant/bar is one of the nicest I've seen for this level of hotel. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room I had was pretty spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. My only negatives about the hotel were the parking facilities and the lack of electrical sockets near the bed for phone charging/laptop use etc. The onsite parking is pretty small and the surrounding streets are packed so you really have to be prepared to do several laps and be very, very patient. On the whole though it's a great hotel and I'll be staying there again.
Travelodge Bournemouth Seafront
Comfortable good value for money.
Travelodge Bournemouth Seafront
Room was very clean and comfortable but we were on the top room and found the window only opened a small way, obviously for health and safety but it was very hot and no air was coming in.
Also car park is extremely small and ended up driving round for an hour trying to find a parking space. We ended up having to park miles away from the hotel.
An excellent overnight stay
We needed an overnight stay on family business and this Travelodge proved to be very comfortable and also very convenient, in a quiet part of Bournemouth.
The staff on reception and in the dining room/bar were friendly and efficient, and the price of our stay (£54) was very reasonable indeed in April 2015. We would certainly go there again and hope to stay longer next time.
This hotel is a conversion rather than a typical Travelodge new build.
The conversion has been very well done. Rooms are light clean and airy. Location is good - about 100 yards from the seafront and close to pubs and restaurants. Parking is £5 for 24hrs (March 2015) and spaces are limited.
Breakfast was not very warm ,would have preferred bacon etc.to have been cooked fresh
Basic accommodation but very clean
Room has everything you need but is very impersonal and felt a bit like a cell.
We had to pay a premium for staying on a saturday night which made it very expensive for a very basic room. Was very hot overnight. Lack of parking on site was a pain.
My husband and I wanted a few days break and to visit my sister.
We could not have done better than to book the Travelodghe Seafront at Bournemouth. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I would have no hesitation in booking again.
First class stay.
This is the first time we have ever stayed away home for Christmas.
We were visiting family in the area.
We were greeted by very friendly staff member ( Ronnie ) on arrival. Nice little letter & Christmas card in our room.
We were out a lot but anytime we were in staff were friendly & attentive.
Joanne was amazing. My brother was having problems getting his boarding pass etc & she "saved the day"
Chris was also very nice.
Restaurant staff very nice also.
In all a very pleasant stay. Thank you all.
cant complain at the price we paid.Staff were very friendly and helpful
