Warwick court 2 nights August 2015
Pleasant guest house about 10 mins from the main town and sea front/harbour but easy and accessible.
My room was at the front facing main road and I found it wasn't as quiet as I hoped on my first night due to some revellers and noisy neighbours but it was a Saturday night in august and apparently Weymouth is the 'go to' place for stag and hen parties so you can't really fault the owners for the noise. Kim and John were very hospitable and helpful and the breakfasts were great with a lovely variety, they had good tips about where to visit. There was a problem with the boiler, resulting in a cold shower but they were apologetic. Kim and John are nice people, they are open and concerned and I'd say that if there was anything you had a problem with, tell them and give them chance to sort it out, they want you to have a nice time. Yes, I'd stay again.
Stayed at the Warwick court guest house and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The room was perfect for us and our two grandchildren. The breakfast was lovely and dining room clean. Wide range of breakfast available. Booking again with this guest house.
warwick court guest house, august 2015
Location - really convenient for accessing Weymouth harbour and seafront.
Its just a short walk (10-15 mins) under a subway and you are right in town. There is an asda store nearby too if you need supplies. Room - the room was clean and nicely presented, and tea/coffee facilities were available. The shower was modern and the bathroom only let down by being a bit tight (e.g. with a sliding door). We travelled with a small baby and the cot provided was good quality and comfortable for the little one. Food - the full English breakfast was enjoyable. I'd give a higher score if the sausages were better quality and the coffee not instant. There were plenty of food options available and happy to provide more toast etc if required. Customer service - a friendly welcome, instructions on how to get into town, and helpful finding a spot to keep our pram.
Parking - the website advertises parking though this is limited and not enough space for all guests. There is street parking available if you search so not too much of a problem.
a three day stay
A really nice guesthouse a single room can't find a bad thing to say had a great time booked in again next week nice food a small walk to harbour and front
Very clean and friendly and near to the town.
Superb 3 day Easter break
My Wife and I stopped for a 3 day easter break Thursday 2nd - Sunday5th, arrived early but no problem as shown to room by Kim the proprietor, who also gave local details - closest restaurants and pubs, and direction to shops - 8 minute walk.
Room was spotless, it could not have been more cleaner and this standard was retained throughout our stay. Delicious cooked full English breakfast, cereals, toast, fresh juice, tea, coffee etc. Before going I did read one review which said "room small, not enough room to swing a cat" Yes the room is small (ish) but who takes their cat with them on a break and why would you want to swing it. :) Seriously, I would describe the size of the room as adequate. Wardrobe was big enough for 3 days of clothes each, chest of 3 drawers each side of bed, plenty of storage space. Nice big wall-mounted tele as well, a lovely place.
Very friendly and helpful
Very helpful, clean and and cost effective.
Easy walk into town centre
We stayed for two weekends, the owners were very helpful and friendly.
The hotel was easy to find and is an easy walk into town. The room was very clean and comfortable, we will go back in the future.
