100% would recommend it to a friend
I thoroughly recommend this bed and breakfast.
Great value for money, the house was well looked after and maintained. The room was very clean and bright, and well decorated. WIFI available. The house was two minutes from the village pub so ideal location for pub lunch or evening meal. The house is situated on the top of a valley so great views of the surrounding countryside. Overall great value for money and breakfast included.
Lovely stay at Bowes House
The host was very friendly and welcoming and offered tea and cake on my arrival, the room clean and comfortable (no TV), and a good breakfast.
The house is accessed via quite a narrow and bumpy un-surfaced lane (which I suppose is good for keeping car drivers speed down) and is in a rural location with open countryside views from the rooms. There's a pub nearby if you just fancy walking for a bite to eat and drink. The only issue I had was that I couldn't find any tea/coffee making facilities although I'm sure they'd have been happily offered if asked.
Bowes house is beautifully situated with views of rolling fields and the odd rare breed sheep.
I arrived early, but was made to feel extremely welcome with tea and fruit cake. I only stayed for one night during which time I felt quite at home. I did love the crisp white linen!
