4AA Assessed Bed and Breakfast Ratings explained
26 Bunnies Lane, Rowde, , Devizes, SN10 2QB
A warm welcome awaits you in our award winning B&B, we have many returning guests. All rooms have ensuite shower, flat screen TVs with DVD players. Complimentary fair trade beverages, fruit bowl and eco friendly toiletries. The king size - Pink Room - can also be supplied with a folding bed to create a family room. The Twin - Blue Room - on the ground floor. The double -(Green Room) - is our oldest room which we believe is about three hundred years old. Our Sauna can take up to 4 people and is situated in its own room complete with rest area, relaxers, shower and toilet so you can relax in style and comfort. We try to anticipate needs and in the winter, you can enjoy log fires in our lovely guest lounge, and in the summer light weight quality quilts and room fans will help you stay cool. Breakfast comprises of a cold buffet + home made preserves and fruit, you then select off of a menu to create a cooked breakfast of your choice, made freshly to order. One option is "Ben's mess" which is exclusive to Vine Cottage, as taken by the hotel inspector, before giving us a 2012/13 Breakfast Award. In our central location, we are within easy reach of the ancient sites of Stonehenge, Avebury and Silbury hill. Wadworth brewery is in nearby Devizess & the Kennet and Avon canal is just a mile away. There are 2 pubs serving food within a short walk. Cities of Bath, Bristol and Salisbury and Swindon are all less than an hours drive as is the grandeur and adventure of Longleat House and Safari Park. Walkers / cyclists are welcome to stay with us as you explore Wiltshire. The Wessex Ridgeway and Wansdyke Path are just two of the more well known and from the top of Roundway Hill the Vale of Pewsy will open out before you in all its glory. We have a drying cupboard for wet clothing and secure storage for cycles in the garage. Ask us about earning our green points to save towards a free night. Please call if you need to arrange a check-in time out side of 4-7pm

Lovely friendly welcome. Plenty of advice given as to the local eating places which allowed us to make the right choice for an evening meal. Comfortable bed. Relaxed and generous breakfast period with plenty of choice. We would recommend this B&B to anyone.

Character and quality but also comfortable and welcoming.
Everything you could wish for in a Bed and Breakfast including character. In fact the extra's supplied went far beyond expectation and were all of excellent quality (we could not think of anything we would need to request from our hosts as it was all catered for), as was the welcome we received on arrival by the hosts Ben and Mary. There was an excellent choice available on the breakfast menu and the food was again fresh, well cooked and tasty with enough variety and quantity to satisfy any appetite. All in all loved it, as you can probably tell! Hubby cannot believe he has done something right. He booked it !!!!!

Lovely place to stay
Vine Cottage is in a lovely peaceful spot and the accommodation is very comfortable. Our hosts were extremely helpful putting the sauna on for our arrival and waiting in til we arrived - we cycled from Bristol. Breakfast was fab too! Highly recommended.

Warm and Welcome.
Very friendly couple who made me feel at home and relaxed. Nice quiet environment and no difficulty in getting to sleep at night.
I had the traditional full English breakfast which was thoroughly enjoyable and a good start to the day.
Overall I enjoyed my one night there and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Very enjoyable stay
From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile even though it was 11 pm on a Sunday night. Mary and Ben were the perfect hosts and the breakfast is second to none (Bens Mess is a must). The room was impeccably kept and clean and a lot of thought goes in to the comfort of the guests. Little fruit bowl in the room plenty of tea and coffee and a fresh bottle of water every day add to the homely feel. Just need an excuse to go back.

Nice and Friendly
Haven't stayed in an B&B for a while, friendly enough. Tried Ben's mess, not my taste, however they do serve the best muesli from Lidl, it really is the best.
