100% would recommend it to a friend
It was a lovely Inn located in a charming village.
On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly landlady who also helped us with our luggage. The room we were allocated on the ground floor at the back of the Inn had a water leak in the ensuite bathroom and we were allocated another room nearby without any problem. Outside our room was a grassed garden area with tables and chairs where we could sit and have a coffee or tea that we had made from our room, very pleasant. Our dinner and breakfast were also excellent.
Great Value for Money
Staff welcoming and very friendly.
I found this to be lovely. Really nice owners. Friendly, warm, sociable people. The room was perfectly sufficient - no arguments at all.
The food in the bar / resturant was good, and sensibly priced - not extortionate. Similarly, the bar was sensibly priced too - not like plenty of other hotels i've stayed in. Negatives. None. At all. If you are like me and would rather support independant businesses rather than bland corporates - this certainly will not be a dissapointment to you. Go. Enjoy.
Just the job
The room was warm, with controls for heating.
Toiletries were provided, handy for just 1 night. Evening meal and breakfast excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Very good, little individual rooms in the garden area of the Inn, very quite only the singing of the birds!.
Two suggestions, lace curtains as the walkway to all the rooms means you are in view of all passing by. Also perhaps some light weight slippers left just inside the room as quests are walking from an outside path directly into the bedroom, more of a problem in winter of course.
