Chalet 50 what can I say, think the only thing to say is once you stay in this wonderful chalet you will be planning your return before you leave.
Just felt so at home instantly,so relaxing. The bed linen smelt so lovely and fresh, and the beds were so comfy. Everything has been thought of,even an umbrella should you need it. We will be back.
3rd Time a Treat
This was our 4th year at Hoburne Cotswolds and 3rd at chalet 50.
Excellent accommodation with lots of extras you wouldn't find if you stayed in one of Hoburne's own chalets or caravans. There is a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival and a basket of tea, coffee, Boarders biscuits and Elizabeth Shaw chocolates. There is also a small bottle of washing up liquid, dish cloth and scourer to get you started. The bathroom has a built in soap dispenser by the sink and shower in case you forgot your shower gel or hand soap. The addition of a dvd player this year was a bonus, nit that you will want to spend much time watching TV as there is so much to do and explore. However, if you do have a wet day in, there is also a box if family games such as cluedo and connect 4.The kitchen is well stocked with pans and other equipment to make self catering easy. The only downside is the fridge is tiny so we needed to shop more frequently than we do at home. The site itself is great with indoor and outdoor pool, children's outdoor play areas, crazy golf, tennis court, small indoor soft play, games/bar area with sky sports, pool tables etc. There are also sorts of activities for the kids to do in the day and there is evening entertainment with things for the kids earlier on, bingo and then a caberet later on. The location of the site is in the Cotswolds water park, there is a bike hire place nearby and there are lots of other places to visit within an hour's drive.
A fantastic place surrounded by wildlife including rabbits, birds, geese , ducks , moorhens and the odd heron............very relaxing .Little extras very welcoming, like milk, tea and coffee biscuits.
also washing up accessories.beds so comfy and the fan in the lounge was a great addition.
Last minute may bank holiday break
Booked last minute for a very good price.
Just returned home today and can't fault chalet 50. A self catering facility which is excellently equipped from great quality saucepans to the complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk. A great touch. Have to comment on bedding too which was very soft and of very good quality. A fantastic site which felt very safe. We visited many pubs for food but decided to try the sites own restaraunt on our last night (1912)- a big mistake. Service was awful. We were sitting 40 minutes before our drinks were delivered and halfway through our starters. Things got steadily worse. However this is no reflection on chalet 50 at all. The rest of the site can't be faulted...beautiful. Our children aged 9 and 13 loved the wild rabbits running around and we had morning visits from the ducks too. Will definitely return
Thank you xxxx
Excellent family chalet
Everything you need for a short or medium self catering break at the Cotswold Water Park.
Light & airy chalet in an excellent position close to the park's facilities. All rooms of good size and kitted out with everything you need.
Had a great stay at chalet 50.
Everything you would need is provided. Will definitely return.
A brilliant chalet.
An exceptional chalet with all the extras and comfort of home, with deep pile matresses ensuring very comfortable nights sleep.
Very relaxing furniture and so many more extras not normally found in this type of accomodation. Would definitly recommend this chalet.
