Fab stay at Churchview
We had a wonderful stay at Churchview, the owners were amazing with a lovely, warmly welcome.
Our room was perfect, room was spacious, clean and had lovely little touches.
Food was amazing and they were very accomadating and nothing was too much trouble.
Felt very relaxed and homely, we went for our 1st wedding anniversary and they made it perfect
This guest house nestles alongside a very busy road and the traffic noise, together with the bright hall light shining into my room, made sleep difficult.
My room was very small but clean and comfortable. There was a good selection at breakfast, although no cooked vegetarian option. The owners were friendly but seemed very busy.
We've had a room on the top floor overlooking the main road.
If one is a light sleeper then traffic noise through the night might give for a less than perfect night's sleep. Otherwise the guesthouse is very good.
lovely but a bit pricey
Decided last minute to get away for the night.
Chose Churchill as it was close and offered breakfast. Room was lovely, small but very cosy with all the things you need. We paid £76 for the night which included breakfast. We thought it a bit expensive as it was not ensuite and bathroom was down the corridor and old fashioned, water pressure was poor so couldnt have a bath, which was a shame. Breakfast was nice though and made up for it.
Ran by great people.
An excellent B&B for a short break.
Very friendly and welcoming.
Easy to find and in a good location for exploring Dorset. The guest lounge was full of information and Michael's local knowledge was much appreciated, suggesting places to eat and visit. The local pub is just a short walk for dinner on the first night. Breakfast was also first class. The only downside was that our 'attic' room was next to the main road and so traffic noise was an issue, however this wouldn't stop us going again. All in all, a most enjoyable visit.
