Many rooms also offer spectacular views across the stream whilst others look out over the rolling Cotswold countryside. As one would expect from a property that boasts the patronage of Marco Pierre White, dining at the Forgmill Hotel is a truly sublime experience. Specialising in modern British cuisine, the restaurant serves hearty home-cooked dishes utilising the very best locally sourced ingredients. Lighter options are also available in the lounge. The bar has been in existence for almost 1,000 years and with its original roaring fireplaces, leaded mullioned windows and timbered ceilings, it radiates with an authentic rustic charm. Serving a fine range of local ales it also features a large riverside beer garden, perfect for a spot of alfresco dining and drinking in the summer. With its fantastic location and comfortable surroundings, the Hotel is a popular venue for a wide range of events. From weddings and celebrations to conferences and meetings, it offers extremely fine function rooms, complete with vaulted ceilings, the largest with a capacity of over two hundred, each with its own sunny terrace and access to the streamside garden. Located by the village of Andoversford in the glorious Cotswolds, the Hotel is just a 14 minute drive from Cheltenham via the A40 and has its own free on-site car park. Cheltenham train station provides excellent transport links to the rest of the UK and for those flying in, Bristol Airport is just over an hour by car, or there’s Staverton Airport, just 23 minutes from the Hotel. The Cotswolds offers visitors some of the most beautiful and unspoilt scenery in the British Isles.
