About the hotel
A welcoming atmosphere provides the perfect location to relax in our 19th Century Coaching Inn. The bespoke bed and breakfast has been sympathetically refurbished to capture the historical character of the Inn, whilst incorporating the luxury of modern facilities. The Old Riverview has been lovingly restored by Graham and Jayne to reflect the needs of every traveller, offering warmth, comfort and relaxation in friendly surroundings.
The Old Riverview Guest House and Tea Rooms is a family run affair owned by Graham and Jayne. Before this project Graham was a local farmer, working the Cambridgeshire Fens for potatoes, wheat and oil seed rape. The potatoes used in the tea rooms come directly from his farm, now run by his brother and nephew. Jayne has had a varied career starting in the Royal Air Force as a chef and in later life becoming a teacher of English to foreign students. Their combined skills of caring for good quality food products and commitment to customers' needs and requirements will ensure your stay surpasses your expectations. The Old Riverview is set in a conservation area offering fabulous circular walks along the banks of the Great River Ouse and around the numerous fishing lakes (day tickets available for the keen angler!). There is a local village pub walk, starting at the Crown (just 100m away), which takes you to the White Swan, Bluntisham and on to the Green Man at Colne. Two serve good pub food and all three offer excellent local beers. The walk is 10km and takes approximately three hours allowing time to stop at each pub. Earith village is conveniently located close to several historical and interesting places to visit. There is a wealth of different experiences for individuals, couples and families within the area of East Anglia

Garden and river view.
My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights last month.
Very friendly and helpful owners, spotlessly clean and nicely decorated bedroom at front of premises overlooking parking spaces, garden and river. Superb breakfast. The premises are on the main road but no traffic noise overnight so no problem getting a good nights sleep in very comfy bed. Would certainly stay again.
Excellent Value, and nice place to stay.
Really pleased with my stay here.
