About the hotel
The Warwick Arms is a large and welcoming 19th century inn on the main A37 at Clutton in Somerset. It was formerly a coaching inn positioned on the main route between Bristol town and its flourishing port and the important cathedral cities of Wells and Exeter. Mezze at the Warwick Arms brings modern Mediterranean-style dining to the A37.
Gateway to the West without sacrifising the wonderful historic surroundings and traditional ambiance of an old coaching stop. This lovely old inn has been redecorated to a high standard with the downstairs bars being opened out into lovely light restaurant areas with the old fireplace restored to provide a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The old rooms upstairs have undergone an extensive restoration to their original use as guest rooms . The restoration of these 8 beautifully appointed rooms in the newly refurbished 1st floor accommodation has created a delightful Boutique style country inn hotel. There is an outdoor restaurant situated in the substantial lawned garden, which has recently been redesigned to include a more comfortable area to eat and drink. Mezze welcomes children and our smaller Mezze style dishes of food and our informal flexible dining arrangements encourages the kids to try out new foods as well as old favorites. There is a fenced play area in full view of the outside tables with plenty of space for children to run around and enjoy a little freedom. There are eight beautifully decorated en-suite rooms, which are brand new and fully equipped to ensure our guests have the most relaxing and pleasant stay. Check in is from 3pm - 10pm and Checkout is 11am.

lovely bar room a let down
This is a lovely pub with a great outdoor terrace and areas great for kids.
I was a bit disappointed with the room though I wouldn't class it as a 4 star. On arrival we waited ages to be checked in, people were being served that came in after us. The welcome wasn't great either. After being shown to our room I noticed the carpet hadn't been hoovered properly and windowsill was thick with dust and tea stains. There was no wardrobe to hang clothes. Having said that the bathroom was lovely and that was spotless. We ate in the evening that was fine. I enjoyed the breakfast. I would definitely come back to the pub but probably wouldn't stay in a room here again.
Highly recommend Mezze at The Warwick Arms
Wow very impressed with Mezze at The Warwick Arms.
Not what you would expect from the
photo of the boutique hotel / restaurant. The quality of the room was of a very high spec, very spacious, they have thought of their clients and have provided luxury at a very competitive price.
Breakfast was very tasty and nicely presented. Shame we couldn't try their restaurant as the menu
looks very appealing if you like Greek / Med food which we do. We would definitely return for a weekend away and explore the beautiful countryside.
