Although a little basic the rooms were clean and tidy , breakfast very good and the bar came in very handy after our journey out in the evening .
The owners are obviously trying to update the place and are carring out needed improvements
good value and convenient for the sailing club
Bit strange using a room key and sharing a bathroom but it was all fine.
Friendly staff a bit overstretched at times but all worked out fine. Breakfasts are great. For a walker close to loads of fun. Beware the dinner portion sizes are enormous which is fantastic after walking all weekend. Over a pub - need i say more. Never found a space for free street parking outside but always away by 8am so car park over the rd was fine. I would definitely stay there again.
