Excellent value and fabulous home cooked food
It's like going back in a time warp, fabulous experience.
Very clean . You try the lasagne it's excellent.
Slept well..but morning was not so pleasant!
The bed was very comfy and room spacious but in need of a touch up on the decor.
It was quiet at night and we slept well but were woken by other guests waking up at 7.30 as the doors were not soundproof at all. The shower was hopeless- erratic temperature and so you were very cold or far too hot.
The breakfast was a full English- alright but pretty greasy and nothing healthy offered at all which was a shame.
In terms of customer service I had emailed the hotel before I stayed and they hadn't replied which was frustrating, they were helpful enough on the day but there was no information in the room so it was all down to asking the right questions when you check in. For one night it was cheap and comfy..but waking up was very hard with loud people, poor shower and disappointing breakfast.
