Rather than drive from Liverpool early on Saturday morning to attend a meeting at 10am I decided to book a room.
I was more than pleased to find the venue I was to attend to be 5 minutes away. It was Sandiacre Town Cricket Club. Next time there is a meeting there I will know where to stay!
A little disappointing
Not the greatest stay - although I had booked breakfast, I was initially informed at check in that I hadn't and was effectively left to worry about it all day until the next day.
No details were given about when breakfast was, and when we arrived at 9.20 we were abruptly informed "Don't you know breakfast ends at 9.30". We were left with effectively leftovers and had to ask for basics such as milk, cutlery and juice. The room was reasonably clean although there was noise disturbance. My compliments to the helpful lady called Deb/Dev who not only assisted us in arranging early check in and also dealt with the breakfast/no breakfast quandary. Perhaps the only good part of the stay and I would thank her for her assistance.
