Our Excellent Stay in The Gold Room
The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, plenty of cupboard space, hair dryer, TV with DVD player and remote and tea /coffee making facilities refreshed daily.
The en-suite was very roomy with frequent clean towels. There was central heating in both and they were spotlessly clean. There was a quiet aspect over the rear garden. Breakfast was very good and plentiful without being pretentious and there was plenty of choice. Sue and Keith were extremely welcoming, helpful, kind, understanding and good conversation. A tiny downside others have mentioned - access to the parking may be a little daunting for apprehensive drivers but well worth the effort. Buses run about every 5 minutes from virtually outside the gate to the centre of Weymouth or Dorchester and it's all reasonably flat if you like walking, so no need to move the car often.
Never ventured to Dorset before but will go again.
Beautiful scenery, great accommodation, Fantastic hosts, who could ask for more.
