About the hotel
Queen Charlotte's Orangery was the 1817 home of Queen Charlotte, the wife of King George 3rd . It has a rich history, with wonderful rooms around an Italianate courtyard garden - all the luxury of a 5-star hotel, but with a personal touch. Although quite small, The Orangery is one of the finest guest houses in Bath.
It is on Sydney Place, which is the street where the novelist Jane Austen once lived. It is situated within an 8-minute flat walk from Bath's historic city centre of shops, restaurants and attractions including the infamous Roman Baths and Pump Room. Breakfast at The Orangery is served in either the rotunda atrium or the garden. Private functions for up to 25 guests can be accommodated. The Queen Charlotte's Orangery is a strictly non-smoking establishment. Any contravention incurs a £100 surcharge. We regret we cannot accept children.

Queen Charlotte's Delight
After a gap of six years I returned with my new lady to once again sample the delights of Queen Charlottes Orangery in the beautiful city of Bath.
Denise and Greg welcomed us like long lost friends. We felt so comfortable. We were taken to our sumptuous accommodation and then had tea in the peaceful and tranquil setting of their very beautiful garden Not being normally inclined to rise early and take breakfast. The scent of Greg's delicious cooked breakfast drew us from our warm and comfy bed each morning with the skill of a snake charmer. A wonderful and uplifting experience rescuing us from the hurly burly of life outside. A true haven of delight and tranquillity set in the most charming and exquisite surroundings. A gem, to be wholeheartedly recommended
Lovely comfortable stay in a an unusual building packed with character
My husband an I stayed here and would definitely recommend It.
The bed was comfortable, the room warm and very clean. Loved the four poster bed and all the ornate fixtures, fittings and decorative features. The round room with a glass domed roof where we had breakfast was lovely. Overall, a charming building, great hospitality and just a 5 -10 minute walk into Bath centre.
