Stanton House Review

I stayed at Stanton House Hotel on a business trip, as it's close to Swindon (only a 15 minute drive from the centre).

The hotel staff were friendly, my single room was sympathetically decorated and superbly clean, lovely bathroom and I had a 'grab and go' breakfast included in the room rate, which consisted of a hot drink, croissant, jam, apple and cereal bar, which I thought was very good. Altogether I would highly recommend Stanton House and I look forward to staying there again.

Breakfast is to die for!

The room was basic - everything's in it and nothing too extravagant.

Cleaning standards were average and certainly can be improved. Customer Service was good but slightly disappointed by the abrupt, non-interested comment by the female Bar Manager when I asked her about the Mother's Day booking. The best bit about my stay was the breakfast. That smoked fish was amazing as well as the sticky rice and the miso soup. They were incredibly delicious alongside the traditional English breakfast. This is a personal favourite of mine now!
