The worst weekend break ever ?
This hotel is just awful-as well as being a rip-off.
Check in is impossible as "computer says no" if you have 2 rooms to book. Half of our party couldn't sleep due to a raucous wedding party. Rooms awful with poor lighting (good showers though). Food luke-warm and overpriced. Location 3 miles from anything other than the local A and E (actually I have stayed in comfier hospitals). Worst of all, my daughters were left in tears when they wanted to go for a swim, having been told the pool opened until 10 to then be told it had closed at 8. Clearly they have staffing issues. £460!!!!
Perfect little gem
Bank holiday weekend, found the village by sheer fluke and wow what a find, 55 inch flat screen in the room pukka coffee machine also the best shower known to mankind, and I'm a plumber so I should know.
The room rate for bank holiday and this class of hotel was cheap as B and Bs where just fleecing everyone. We used the pool sauna and steam pub and restaurant all just perfect, the staff are also fantastic, as a family and business we stay in a lot of hotels, will be 101% staying at the village again and again. If you choose the village you will not be disappointed just pleasently surprised
Great value for money
Excellent hotel clean and tidy with great facilities.
Will definitely stay again

Food in hotel was good however had to wait 50 minutes for a burger!
Great check in one of the most genuine .
Unfortunately replaced corridor carpet and underlay during stay so smalel was unpleasant. Rubber clear seal under shower glass door needs to be replaced /cleaned ( a tubular seal where dirt congregates. Leisure facilities excellent. Bar area friendly good staff how'ever a few rowdies who where requested to refrain from swearing (twice) while watching a football game was an unpleasant experience.
Stay at Bournmouth Village was pretty much like any other village I have stayed in and I do stay in a few for business (not any more) this one wasn't the best, bar staff were slow, even though the bar wasn't busy, didn't help that about 6 workmen turned up at 8.00 on Sunday morning to work on the rooms adjacent to mine on the 4th Floor, did mention it when checking out but reception not that interested.
I am sure the rooms will be lovely when finished, might be a good idea not to put guests in rooms next door to a work site.
Lovely hotel & excellent facilities.
Paid a little bit extra for the upgrade & well worth it - biggest TV I've ever seen in a hotel room. So modern & very chic feel to the décor. Customer service was also excellent, very helpful - only issue was that we paid for late check out, but this was not communicated to housekeeping. So we were woken up abrubtly to a phonecall asking if we were leaving - not a major issue, but there should be better communication between staff.
Warm welcome after a Long Day
A special evening away so I paid the additional money to upgrade to the top deck..
I wasn't informed that building works were being carried out along the corridor from our room. This included free Costa coffee ( 2 shachets only) and a bigger bed. Room and everything was lovely until the building work commenced at 8 am. We did complain and were refunded our upgrade amount so others please check before doing this.
