Food and water
When we arrived, we were given a cold glass of cava and the reception staff were very helpful and professional. The hotel is stunning with beautiful grounds and bars which overlook the ocean. The hotel was slightly let down by the level of service, particularly in the restaurant. Although the general quality of food was good, some of the hot food was luke warm or cold, particularly at breakfast. We were also disappointed that we were charged for water at dinner. The restaurant service was not good and we often had to help ourselves to cutlery etc. and had to get the attention of waiters although they did appear short staffed. There was no kettle in the room and when we asked for one, we were told that one could be rented but no tea or coffee was provided. Guests have pay to access to the spa, even to use basic ammenities like the pool and saunas. Of the three pools, we were told that one was heated but all three were very cold.
