Worth a visit.
Great hotel right in the hub of the city. Trains to airport 2 mins walk away. Comfy beds and a good size room. We had a superior twin with small balcony and it was nice to sit there and watch the busy scene outside. I would definitely stay there again as everything in walking distance and it a lovely city. Only draw back was no tea making facilities in the room. It would have been nice to have a cuppa first thing. Good breakfast with a choice of juices, pastries and cold meats. Also fruit and cereals

our midweek city break
just remember this is only a 3 star hotel. on arrival very friendly staff on reception, quick and easy check in, we got a second floor room a little old looking but very very clean which is our main concern when away. beds were comfortable and there was a small selection of soft drinks and water in the fridge provided , there was a room safe free of charge and if you needed the internet its free in reception the room also had a whirlpool bath (wife loved it) maid came in each day and cleaned to a very good standard.. location very good and the staion is about 50 yards away.
i would definately stay here again our only gripe which is very minor no english chanels on the telly not even a news channel and no kettle in the room but we took our own anyway just in case. £151 for 4 nights is value for money in my book !

Car Parking
I was hoping to find a car park that was almost free of charge as everywhere I looked there were no spaces for cars near the hotel.
It would have been helpful to know of a space for less than the 15 euros a day in a garage as this mounts up after a few days stay. I would have been prepared to walk a little distance to have my car parked because for me this was a walking holiday anyway.

Good quality at the Astoria
We stayed on a late booking to do some Christmas shopping in Malaga & so got a very good deal with the price. We were looked after by the clerk on reception very well, he was really helpful. The room was warm & cosy. The whirlpool bath was a joy after a wet shopping day. The hotel is very handy for the town center & we will definitely use the hotel whenever we are in Malaga, which is quite often.
