Tries hard but little things let them down.
Good room, clean, requested bathrobe not supplied, asked reception and told on 2 occasions that arriving but never arrived. Dinner disappointing, service not good, steak undercooked. Breakfast dried out and not good, needs to be refreshed.
All in all not a bad stay but would think twice about rebooking.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff
Good hotel in a very accessible and central location. All staff were great and always on hand to help. The breakfast selection was not as good as other hotels but still adequate. Overall a good experience.

nice city centre hotel
this is a perfectly acceptable city centre hotel. the staff were lovely. we only stayed the night after a gig so cannot review the restaurant or breakfast but the room was fine. the only thing was that the TV was way over to the side away from the bed - very uncomfortable to view for any length of time i would think.
we got the room only for £90 - in my opinion the true value. in no way was it worth the approx £300 original rate but that's just my opinion.

Nice touches
I booked this hotel as it was around £20 more than a Travelodge. The room was very nicely furnished, appreciated the espresso machine and iPhone dock etc. Will definitely stay here again next time I come to Manchester.

Nice central place to stay
Stayed here for the Christmas markets, incredibly close to them, practically on the doorstep which saved a lot of time walking to and from the markets. Quality of food in the restaurant was superb and the attached bar was good. Room felt a little cold (although that may have been due to the room on the ground floor), only warming seemed to be from the air con which didn't help my girlfriends oncoming cold so had to leave it off, bed was nice and warm though. Gym facilities available looked nice from the outside.
Would fully recommend if you're looking for a break in Manchester close to the Christmas markets.
