Great location and friendly staff
A really great base for staying in Brighton - a lovely walk along the seafront into town. The hotel staff were were friendly and helpful. The hotel was a little tired and dated but comfortable and clean. We were lucky to get one of the few parking spaces at the hotel - a bit expensive at £18 per night but cut out the hassle of public parking. Would definitely stay again.

No problems at all, courteous staff in dated but pleasant surroundings. Would certainly use the hotel again. Oddly, we too had room 421.

Compact Room!
The Hotel was nice, room was clean and tidy and we had all the facilities that was expected from this standard of booking. The room was very small and we had no view of outside which made it feel very stuffy and closet like. As we were only using it for a base this did not bother us too much, but i wouldn't liked to spend more than 1 or 2 nights in this particular room. We had a great stay in Brighton and would probably book further in advance next time as to have more of a choice in rooms and we would consider using this Hotel again.

Mixed bag
Room large enough, but had a fusty smell and settee/sofa bed was badly stained and uninviting. Bathroom cramped but adequate. Bed comfortable - slept very well. Good breakfast with hot food cooked to order. Wi-Fi only worked once in two days.
