Glasgow Pond Hotel

My only problem was the lady at the cash desk.

Who said I had no money in my account in front of other guests waiting to book in. She ran about looking for someone and said she tried three times at time of booking and it was refused. If that was the case why did they put my booking through. I brought my husband who has Alzheimer's because I needed an early hospital appointment apart from that. The stay was wonderful room service was great the restaurant manager was polite helpful and took time talking to my husband. Overall stay was fantastic and it saved a long journey in the morning as my treatment is on going I am planning another stay.

Comfortable but noisy

There was a wedding on at the hotel the night we stayed, the music was very loud and we had to complain as we were unable to sleep.

Reception staff said it was asked to be turned down but it never seemed to get any better till it stopped after midnight. I have stayed before whilst visiting hospital and my stay then was great but the wedding music spoiled it this time.

Relaxing night away

Myself and my better half stayed here for a relaxing night away from everything.

The hotel was very quiet even though there was a wedding and a birthday party going on we didn't hear a thing and would very much recommend it.

overall very nice

Nice staff and comfortable beds and not too far from the SSE Hydro which was the reason for our stay.

Lots of free parking and bar seemed popular however the rooms in particular need a bit of a spruce up as appear dated and grubby however the place is clean.

Mixed bag.

Location, staff, food and room were fine but oh when the lights went out.

There appears to be very little sound proofing and the fan which came on outside our window at 6.00am did not help. Maybe top floor rooms are better but Room 118 certainly made for a restless night.
