Brilliant Hotel!!

Took my husband here for his 40th and it was even better than it looks online!.

Friendly and attentive staff and the atmosphere was terrific. Parking only 2 minutes away in Chesil Multi storey and the barman directed me to this. Room was amazing-really well styled and spotlessly clean. Would definitely return in the future!.

Warm Welcome

Delightful staff.

As my room was not ready when I arrived I was given a complimentarydrink to pass the 20mns and then given a complimentary upgrade to a lovely, large room. The manager even carried my bag upstairs. Single travellers don`t always feel this pampered!

Room a bit small, but a beautiful hotel full of vintage character mixed with modern day decor!

Great niight's stopover (with one small proviso)

This was a great place to stay - the room and bathroom was large and luxurious, the service very efficient and friendly.

Even more impressive was the food - we hadn't intended to eat there but ended up having dinner and breakfast - excellent at reasonable prices. The only drawback would be for light sleepers - our room faced onto a small but busy roundabout. There was a noisy bottle collection late at night, and on Friday and Saturday the pub below has music. So not the quietest of locations, but for many the extremely comfortable bed would compensate!

Would stay again

Staff were very welcoming, our room was small but comfortable and clean.

The hotel is in a good location for the centre fo town. We came back to our room late after the pub was closed. The instructions given us to get back in were easy to follow. Although it was disappointing that breakfast was not included in our booking, the price of the room was reasonable in comparison to the other hotels located in the centre.

Room beautifully presented, but really small and it overlooked a very busy road.

The room was incredibly hot, so with the window open, we hardly slept a wink, with the sound of heavy vehicles thundering by. Room decor was gorgeous; contemporary boutique with some lovely touches and details, but we paid quite a lot of money for a place to sleep ... but didn't get any. The lack of parking also meant that we had to leave the car in a pay and display car park which resulted in an early start to feed the meter.

Central, well equipped, great bar, fantastic food, easy parking just a little noisy at the front.

The first impressions were great, the style and ambience were lovely.

The negatives were a slightly small, hot room with road noise whether the window was open or closed......however the room was big enough for one night, lots of extras (real coffee, posh tea, water, good toiletries), great bathroom, fab shower....and if you want old boutique style accommodation, the windows are traditional and therefore not with modern double glazing....if you aren't a light sleeper, a front room would be fine....all in all, the pros outweighed the cons and the fan provided was a great help.
