Great views shame about the noise
This hotel was a real disapiontment, we went away for some peace and quiet, time to relax and recover from a really busy time.
Sadly the noise from the sister hotel next door was awful, and it was impossible to sleep. The not very good live band played late into the night. The food was very well cooked, however the quality was of a low standard, the waiting staff were fantastic. The customer care from the night manager was very poor, and let the rest of the staff down who were in general very good.
I was only staying one night, I had stayed at this hotel previously and decided to return as I knew it was of a good standard.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I had a nice room with views of the sea, comfy bed and clean, there is also free parking. I would definitely recommend staying here and would return if in the area again.
Room furniture little outdated.
Good location as beach and town centre are on walking distance. Good sea front location which was a key add one. Helped us out with a free crib for my four months old.
Is it that we are two women?, is it that we book through a booking agent like laterooms that we are sometimes given the worst room in the hotel first.
Even though we had chosen a sea view room and not paid the cheapest price, we were shown a box room which was so small it was claustrophobic. I went back to reception and said it was not what we had seen on the Internet and they would have to give us a better room. We then were moved to a brighter, nicer room. In future we will ask to see rooms first. The hotel smelled old and fusty. The carpets were grubby and there was a general feel of neglect about the place.
The staff were the best part of the stay, cheerful, helpful and pleasant.
Lovely hotel with great veiws
Great getaway for a few days, Staff friendly and sweet hotel.
Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was a good addition with plenty of choice.
The staff at the hotel were amazing, they were all so friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The hotel has great decor, quirky and vibrant. Great atmosphere. The location is excellent close by the beach and near enough to the town centre. Loved my stay here and will definitely be returning.
We loved our second year's stay at the hotel during the half term break.
Love the decor and our seaview room was lovely. . Although we feel the size of the bathroom lets it down. Nice toiletries provided however. Good choice on offer at breakfast and willing to take on special orders of items not displayed. The waitress even remembered our breakfast order by day 2 . Parking good ; always a suitable space available. Ate in restaurant once and both food and service were very good.
Another good stay
Our room was clean and spacious enough for a travel cot.
Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good value for money.
Good Hotel for a short Break
Hotel was chosen for a weekend away for the visit of Norwich City to Bournemouth FC.
We decided to upgrade to a superiour room with a sea view as aparently these were refurbished.. The room was a "family" room with a very small double bed and a single bed, although a bigger double bed could have easily fitted as the room was huge. The TV was also very small but had sufficent chanels for what we needed.
The wifi worked adequately if just a bit slow at times. Breakfast was self service and was very good with sufficent choice and was very hot and tasty. Depending on future results would stay here again, however would probably not upgrade for the seaview.
Me and my fiancé came for a stay before he was due to leave for a few months away in the army, wow, what a fantastic hotel, so beautiful, the staff were so friendly, and the room was lovely, the views were even more fantastic.
We will definately be coming to you again. Couldn't fault a thing
