the printworks hotel

the hotel room was a little tight for space, but was modern.

We did however find ladies bobbles on the bed..

Not a 4 star hotel

Tiny room, tinier bathroom.

Blocked shower waste so was unusable. mattress stained and old with every spring felt, blood on towels. Reception not interested to help with problems. No manager around to speak to. Left a hand written letter on exit but as yet no response. One of the most forgettable experiences and definitely well over priced for a tiny dirty non functional damp windowless hotel room.

Shower was leaking and had caused damp in bedroom that they had tried to patch up rather than solve the problem.

Not pleasant especially if you need to spend a lot of time in the room

Bargain hotel, great location

Fantastic little hotel only 5 mins walk from the town centre and the theatre.

Small rooms but clean and modern.

Liverpool town centre hotel

brilliant little find - clean modern and comfortable.

Funnily enough I arrived at night and couldn't see the sign as it was standing right underneath it and it was so long I mistook it for something else!

Take earplugs

we arrived after 5pm and had to wait for the room as they were still being cleaned.

When we got into the room the floor was still wet. The room was in the basement and microscopic. The bed was quite high off of the floor and enclosed by a padded wall on three sides. The heating wasn't working when we arrived and they looked at moving us to another room (which was much bigger) however the heating then started working so we went back to the smaller room. The bathroom was very small and the tiny sink didn't have a plug which made shaving difficult. The soap/ shower gel were in specific holders. One was directly over the toilet roll so you had to be precise when using it, the one in the shower wasn't there so you had to keep getting out of the shower to get the gel. We stayed for two nights. On the first night/ morning about 2.30am the 'stag' party came back. It sounded as thought they were actually in bed with us and they didn't stop partying for 3 hours. We have slept through earthquakes before but this really kept us awake. Pros- comfortable bed, good location, excellent shower

Cons- walls are paper thin, it cost us £180 for two nights which seemed very expensive,
