Found the hotel very noisy with (we think)contractors not caring about their noise at 5am or late in the evening. The music coming from the room above no.3 on saturday night made it impossible to hear our own tv and whoever was in room 6 let everyone know he was there.Perhaps problem made worse by owners not living in.Razor wire in the yard outside our room a bit off putting.Entrance not very welcoming due to smelly bins.On the plus side the room was very clean and beds comfortable.

Booking Problem Averted
There was a mistake in that the room I had requested had been double booked. Michele, the owner of The Old Dairy, tried to find an alternative, but most of Liverpool had been booked up because of the British Open Golf Tournament. In the end, she prepared the room of a staff member, to allow us to stay the night. I much appreciated the effort she went to solve the problem.

Nice tidy room
Guest house was a little bit further out of town than I thought but it was only £6.50 in a taxi to the city center. Easy to park my van there on the street for free with no parking restrictions. All clean and tidy, quiet and good value. Friendly staff.

3 rooms for the lads working
Location not the best but was ideal for working away. In behind terraced houses, daunting looking gates etc but once inside 3 vans safely parked behind the locked gates which we had a key for. I had double to myself & was spot on. Spacious, clean & comfortable. The others shared & was as impressed, but can only speak for myself. Taxi to city £7 inc tip.

The Old Dairy - Jan 14
I appreciate that hotels in Liverpool are blighted by hen and stag parties, but we still found all the notices a bit excessive. The price was a bargain and the journey in and out of the city was trouble free.
The bathroom was huge but very cold and the shower was one of those you have nightmares about - so small you can hardly move once you're inside!

Very Friendly Service.
When I arrived I said, 'wow, nice room'. The staff were very friendly and bent over backwards to help you. Not too far from the city centre and I would definitely stay there again. It is a self catering guest house, (perfect as I can cook my own food), and there are all the facilities and home comforts one would expect. 10 out of 10 in my estimation!
