Room & Spa
Shower in room 2 was cold.
In the Spa it was strange having to come out of the changing room & go up or downstairs in bare feet which were cold.

Very noisy - take earplugs
Room was next to a fire door that was desperate for some WD40 as it squeeked all night and also next to the lifts where everyone congregated for a natter before using and we heard several raised voices and conversations all through the night and at 6am the Hoover was being used - ahhhh!!

Excellent hotel, staff very good & helpful.
no plug sockets near bed, an alarm clock but nowhere to plug it . Also no drawers only hanging space. Nothing major but just small things that could be easily rectified,
door keys weren't activated when we got to our room so had to return to reception.

Staff very friendly and welcoming, breakfast room could of been bigger not enough tables for the size of hotel,
also not enough comfortable chairs in the bar areas considering the way the hotel promotes group bookings birthday parties hen parties and pamper parties guests are unable to sit together for a drink

Great relaxing night
The staff on arrival were very welcoming and friendly. A warm cookie was nice and unexpected. We found our room very clean and spacious with all that you need to hand. The evening meal was great value and excellent quality. Plenty of chill areas to sit and have a drink after your meal. The bed was a great size king that gave an excellent nights sleep. All in all I couldn't fault anything at Double Tree Chester and I will definitely be staying there again.
