Dam good central hotel in Amsterdam

This is a wonderful hotel.

Right opposite De Bijendorf store a few steps from Dam Square. The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. No complaints at all. We didn't have any food but the restaurant seemed busy all the time. Definitely would book again. Denise

The hotel was amazing. Fabulous location, within easy walking distance to all main attraction

I will definitely stay again.

I booked the hotel, a birthday gift. On arrival we were offered a free of charge upgrade, to a junior suite, which was out of this world. The room was spacious, modern with two balconies looking over Dam Square. The staff were so friendly, the room was immaculate - I can't wait to return

Amsterdam in December

With weather wet, skies cloudy most days the Hotel provided a welcome refuge at the end of each day.

Well located in the city and a ten minute walk from the main station it was easy navigating our excursions. Plenty of restaurants and eating places within 200m of the hotel front door. The room was fairly modern, well furnished and (thank goodness) a clean bathroom with sufficient hot water. Select an inside room for noise free nights; that worked for us. Would we stay again. Yes, it was good value for money.

Honeymoon

Our room was tidy, had a good balcony with excellent views of the street and Dam Square.

There was enough room for a couple of chairs and a table so we could sit and comfortably enjoy a drink or snack with good views of Amsterdam. We didn't tell them we were on our honeymoon and I'm not sure what good it would have done. Our 'double bed' was actually two singles pushed together with separate sheets and duvets. I guess they don't expect guests to stay as long as we did (a week) 'cos there wasn't much clothes storage capacity. Excellent location though, restaurant was very good and the staff very friendly and helpful.
