Fab hotel!
Booked this last minute for a shopping trip to manchester! Arrived at the hotel, staff were really friendly gave us two vouchers for a free drink at the hotel bar. Room was gorgeous stayed in executive room, bed was massive and really comfortable! Had a problem with telly but a member of staff who was really nice and gave us good recommendations for places to go soon sorted it out! Hotel was bang in the middle of everywhere, couple of minute walk from restaurants, bars and shopping centre! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!

Lovely stay
Very central. Very swish and clean. Breakfast a cut above the budget hotels we have used before. Parking underneath is handy although not cheap - but which city centre car park is?

Pleasantly Surprised!
The Novetel Manchester City Centre- Rooms were spacious, clean, modern and well equipped. Tea/coffee making facilities, choice of teas. Water in mini bar £2.50! Good TV with plenty of channels, broadband available and an audio cable to plug in phone/iPod for music. Ironing board and iron stored in wardrobe, socket at bedside & bedside lamps integrated into the bed frames. No complaints about the room at all, although our neighbours were very noisy until early hours, in hindsight I should of called reception at the time, rather than complain in the morning. Great location, china town so many oriental restaurants to eat, also McD's round the corner. Parking at 'reduced' rate of £14 for 24hrs. Travel to Old Trafford football stadium was easy via the tram service, although busy at the end of the evening, but cheap, £6.50 for a return family ticket. Over all, a good experience.

Weekend stay
High standard all round. Not good value this time as we were competing for late rooms with thousands of pop concert attenders. Rooms at a premium.

In the toilets in the reception area , the bin was not emptied both times I visited it, it was overflowing onto the floor.
The queue to check in was very long , it took 20 minutes to get to the front desk.
