hot water issues
Stayed at the Marlin Apartment for a one night which was for a business training course which was near the apartment hence booking Marlin apartments, when I checked in everything was ok.
Until I decided to use the shower/bath facilities to begin with the water came hot then to warm then to cold and stayed on cold for the rest of the duration not good if all you wanted was a nice hot bath, especially when you have been up since 5am and traveling into London and have been on your feet for 11/12 hours. For £100 a night id expect running hot water, when I went out for a meal in the evening I reported the issue to the receptionist who told me all I needed to do was press the boost button which was in the utility cupboard on the control panel (silly me I should have known that) The next day I was due to leave so woke up and wanted to have a nice warm shower so I pressed the boost button and to my surprise that didn’t work, didn’t have time to mess around and ring reception so I made do with a cold shower when I checked out I explained the issues and was just given an email address to contact in regards to my issues. I sent an email and to my surprise they didn’t want to know, all they could say is that they sent a porter to the room and the porter said it was all ok. So they fobbed me off with no reason, don’t think I will be staying there again.
A little tired
The apartment was pleasant but needed some upgrading.
Curtain hooks missing resulting in the curtains hanging down, unsightly. The bedroom was very sparse and dark, a chair and a rug would have made it more habitable. The lounge rug was stained and the furniture past its best.Otherwise very handy for Canary Wharf. I would advise the that people who stay in this apartment be told to park their car at the entrance to the garage as there is no parking allowed in the road only by paying at the meter further down the road, which after driving 250 miles, we didn't notice at first.You are at risk of getting a parking ticket even whilst just booking in for 10 minutes (which we did). We think that the officer that booked us was in a white unmarked van and who wore no uniform. He just seemed to be wanting our space and asked us if we were leaving, he never even got out of his van. Welcome to London.
A few frustrations
Upon arrival I had to wait approx 8-10minutes for someone to come and open the car park
After running one bath there was no hot water so had to have a cold shower
Mattress on the fold out bed was so thin it made the bed rock hard and uncomfortable to sleep on
An Office away from the office
Ideal working environment, a couple of bits of maintenance that needed doing but other than that great.
a drop of fairy liquid wouldn't go amiss, Washing up wiith L'Occitane shower gel seemed a bit of a waste
Marlin Apartments - Canary Wharf
Lovely accommodation at a very good price.
Reliable and consistent
Second stay at the Marlin Apartments, staff are attentative and professional.
Location is great for any Canary Wharfers with good Apartment is clean and comfortable (even the single studio). Standard wifi is slow, an upgrade is possible at £5 for 24hrs. Shower pressure is awesome and water is always hot.

Excellent location and standard of accommodation great, clean, all amenities and very helpful concierge.
Highly recommended and will be back.
The apartment was comfortable.
No air-conditioning installed,like living in a sauna. We were allocated a Ground Floor apartment,disturbed by the traffic and people on foot.Did not have a decent nights sleep.
