Each of the hotel’s 28 en-suite rooms are superbly decorated and furnished, reflecting the stylish allure and traditional splendour of the main building. All rooms come fully-equipped with an extensive range of luxuries and conveniences, including HD flat screen TV with Sky channels, work desk, designer toiletries, Egyptian cotton linen and tea & coffee making facilities.

There is a great selection of accommodation options available from Double and Deluxe to Suite and Family room types, perfect for both business and leisure breaks alike. 15 rooms are located in the ‘courtyards’ and the rest are in the main building. Many rooms also offer spectacular views across the stream whilst others look out over the rolling Cotswold countryside.

As one would expect from a property that boasts the patronage of Marco Pierre White, dining at the Forgmill Hotel is a truly sublime experience. Specialising in modern British cuisine, the restaurant serves hearty home-cooked dishes utilising the very best locally sourced ingredients.

Lighter options are also available in the lounge. The bar has been in existence for almost 1,000 years and with its original roaring fireplaces, leaded mullioned windows and timbered ceilings, it radiates with an authentic rustic charm. Serving a fine range of local ales it also features a large riverside beer garden, perfect for a spot of alfresco dining and drinking in the summer.

With its fantastic location and comfortable surroundings, the Hotel is a popular venue for a wide range of events. From weddings and celebrations to conferences and meetings, it offers extremely fine function rooms, complete with vaulted ceilings, the largest with a capacity of over two hundred, each with its own sunny terrace and access to the streamside garden.
Located by the village of Andoversford in the glorious Cotswolds, the Hotel is just a 14 minute drive from Cheltenham via the A40 and has its own free on-site car park.

Cheltenham train station provides excellent transport links to the rest of the UK and for those flying in, Bristol Airport is just over an hour by car, or there’s Staverton Airport, just 23 minutes from the Hotel.

The Cotswolds offers visitors some of the most beautiful and unspoilt scenery in the British Isles. Popular with tourists from across the globe, the area is renowned for its gentle hillsides, outstanding countryside, river valleys, historic market towns and much more besides. A bona fide heaven for lovers of the great outdoors it is perfect for a wide-range of activities, including walking, rambling, fishing, cycling, horse riding, and hand-gliding. Just a quick 15 minute drive from the Hotel is the scenic Bourton-on-the-Water, often referred to as the Venice of the Cotswolds and regularly voted as one of the prettiest villages in England.

A little further on is the delightful market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, offering many fine antique shops, art galleries, gifts and crafts. The Cotswolds are also rich with history and culture and features a great many sites of interest including Blenheim Palace, Woodchester Mansion, Berkerley Castle and Hailes Abbey. Sports fans are well served by the Shipton Golf course, located right next to the hotel.

There’s also the thrill of Clay Pigeon shooting at the The Cotswold Clay Club and Shooting School. Perhaps most enticing of all is the world-famous Cheltenham Racecourse, only a 15 minute drive from the hotel it is home to some of the best jump racing action in the world. For family run, Cotswolds Wildlife Park is a great adventure for young and old alike. There’s further excitement to be had at Bourton Model Railway, Birdland Parks and Gardens and Cotswold Falconry Centre.
