About the hotel
We are a family owned and run seafront hotel and bar overlooking the gorgeous Morecambe Bay. We have 7 double rooms, all are en-suite and many have sea views. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas and some bedrooms although it is not available in the whole of the building.
The Royal Bar itself is warm and welcoming with a extensive choice of wines, cask ales, lagers and keg beers. We regularly have 6 local cask ales from local suppliers including our own Royal Ale at just £2 a pint. At weekends we have live music every Friday & Saturday from 9pm till 12pm. Please be aware that although the rooms are at least a floor above the bar some noise is inevitable. If you would like a room at the front, which is further away from the music, please mention this when booking. At the Royal we take food very seriously, we serve a wide range of freshly prepared, locally sourced food. All food is cooked to order using the very best ingredients. Where ever possible we use local suppliers to not only help the local economy but also to reduce our carbon foot print. Check in time for the rooms is 2pm although often they are ready before. Please check in at the bar at the Royal Hotel. If you arrive early we are always happy to look after your bags while you have a stroll along Morecambe prom or relax with a drink in the bar. Unfortunately we don't offer breakfasts at the Royal but there are plenty of local cafes and a Costa Coffee very close by that will that will facilitate your breakfasting requirements. Please be aware that our rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Unfortunately due to the design of the building we do not have a lift but we will happily carry any bags if you need assistance. We are also unable to provide car parking. Parking is available along the street free from 6pm to 8am and then it time limited with a 1 hour maximum stay. There are several pay & display cark parks nearby that are free after 6pm. Free parking is available 24hrs a day along the prom about 300m away from the hotel. Although we can't guarantee availability. If you have any questions concerning stairs or parking please contact us. We also reserve the right to charge £100 for any keys that are not returned on checkout as they are high security keys and are expensive to replace.

Poor attention to details
Room was cold, asked for radiator to be bled but no response or feedback.
Waited for a while to be served in upstairs restaurant and when food did come it was over cooked.
