On arrival we were shown to our room via a fire escape by one of the staff who was very friendly but didn't really explain anything to us the room was very tired and would benefit from a refurbishment the bed was really comfy and the bed linen was lovely and clean and smelt really fresh in general the room was clean a bit dusty in places but not bad however the bathroom was not it needed a good clean and a general refurbishment.
Breakfast was good a choice of cereal and fruit juice and a lovely full english breakfast with a choice of tea or coffee and fresh cooked toast. The breakfast room could also do with a bit of TLC But as Mel was a really lovely host & so friendly this did make up for it
The owner, Mel, was fantastic.
Good accommodation in the heart of the Nidd Valley.
